Lapland\u2026 a region that immediately conjures up images of vast, snow-covered landscapes, the Northern Lights in the sky, and, of course, Santa Claus! But is a trip to the Far North even doable with children? Our answer is a resounding yes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some tips to make your trip to L\u00e5ngforsen unforgettable and carefree for the whole family!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activities with kids<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We offer our tours from the age of four years old. With young children, your guide adapts the tour to make it suitable for the whole family. For the snowmobile tour, the guide will attach our panoramic sleigh to his snowmobile, which can take an adult with a child during the trip. During the husky sleighride young children can join one of their parents in a snowmobile sled that follows behind. Older children from five years old can join the sleigh with their parents.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our School holiday packages: Magical Christmas<\/a>, Arctic New Year Celebration<\/a>, School Break Winter Tales<\/a>, and the Snowy Easter Getaway<\/a> are fully adapted for families with children. One of the included activities is family activities. Our guides take the time to create arctic art crafts with the kids, help them decorate gingerbread cookies, and the kids can enjoy a lovely time outdoors with the different sleighs.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/span>\n\n\n\n

  • Pack warm and comfortable clothes for the full family<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Take some card games or small toys for in the lodge<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Inform your children well about the activities and the climate<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Provide a face and hand cream that is not water-based (e.g. Vaseline)
