Enjoy an Easter holiday in Lapland!
Go on a husky sleigh-ride or meet a Sami and her reindeer! Enjoy the warm and long days with lot’s of sunlight. April is known by the locals for the beginning of the springwinter with long days of sun. During springwinter the locals come outside for the outdoorlife. This time time of the year the sun sets around 7 Pm / 8 Pm which makes it the perfect time to explore as much as possible from Lapland!
Explore the woods on snowshoes, visit Santa Claus in his village. Try out the local sport ice fishing, go downhill the slope on ski’s and relax in the evening in our wood fired sauna. Coffee, tea, water and a full board week menu are included daily during your stay, other drinks and alcoholic beverages are optional available at our bar next to our lounge and pool table.
What about meeting a reindeer herder and her reindeer?
You can feed the reindeer their favorite goodies.
Ever dreamed of a sleigh ride pulled by a group of husky’s?
They will definitely become your new four-legged friends!
In our traditional LappKåtan ( the traditional Sami building ) we will serve you Full board of local produced food.

Meet Santa

The moment where you meet the man himself! Explore the fairytale village of Santa Claus himself! Here you can enjoy the village on its own or take part in some small activities. If you have an early arrival flight or a late departure flight, then this is a great moment to get something to eat. This activity is only included when flying to or from RVN airport when the flight times allow for a visit during Santa's opening hours |
Husky Sleigh-ride

Meet your new 4 legged friends! You will meet the huskies, which will take you on a 6 - 10km sleigh ride in the forests of Swedish Lapland. During the sleigh ride, you will only hear the huskies and nature while moving at a fast pace through the frozen forest. After a lovely sleigh-ride, you will enjoy lunch on location. |
Reindeer visit

Meet the reindeer and their Sami herder Together with the Sami, the reindeer herder, you will explore the corral where they gather the reindeer. Here you will learn about the reindeer and the Sami culture. Because a reindeer is such a kind animal you will be able to pet and feed them from your hand! You can spoil your favorite one from the pack with their favorite candy from the forest. Hereafter you can warm up with some warm drink. However, you have to earn this first by lasso-throwing like a real reindeer-herder! |
Half Day Snowmobile Safari

Explore the endless forests and look for the beautiful wildlife! We will start with the introduction course on how to ride and handle the snowmobile, as well as the rules and tips and tricks. This is an extensive-guided tour through different terrain. Depending on your level of snowmobiling, we will adapt to more difficult routes to guarantee the best experience! The tour will take around 3 hours and includes lunch Vi anpassar oss till den grupp vi har med oss. Om du gillar att köra snabbare för adrenalinet eller långsammare för att njuta av landskapet. The snowmobiles are shared by 2 people. Due to the duration of the trip, there are plenty of possibilities to switch during the tour. |
Snowshoe Expedition

Go on an expedition in the forest by snowshoes! This will be a great adventure! You will start your own journey on your own pace armed with a map of the tour. This tour is about 6 km long. |
Alpine skiing
Upgraded Package

Go alpine skiing on a local slope! Have some skiing fun on a local slope which has green, blue, red slopes + funpark. This is a great oportunity to learn how to ski. Our guide can teach you ( This activity is only included in the upgraded package of this tour. ) |
Swedish Sauna ( winter 2024/2025 )

Relax in our wood-fired sauna by the river Connected to the Swedish wood-fired sauna, there is an extra relax room to have some drinks and snacks by the stove. You will receive bathrobes and fresh towels to use in the sauna. ( Please note: at extreme temperatures {colder than -15°C}, the sauna is not guaranteed to reach the optimal temperature. In this case, we will replace this activity with an equivalent activity. ) Starting from the winter season of 2025 / 2026 our new accommodations will have their own private sauna. |
Ice Fishing

Try your luck on our frozen river! You will get a spot on our frozen river where you can try your luck at ice fishing. This requires a good amount of patience. On our river you can find perch and pike Surrounded by the silence of nature you can sit down and relax while waiting for a catch. |
Campfire Course

Learn how to make an maintain a good campfire! What does it take to make a good campfire? How do I maintain my fire? What do I need for a good campfire? ... All of these questions will be answered by doing it yourself. Your guide will help you through the steps. |
Departure
|
The last day of your vacation After an unforgettable trip in Swedish Lapland, we'll drive you back to the airport of Rovaniemi. If you have a later flight, this would be the day to pack your luggage. Check-out of the rooms is at 11:00. |
Aurora Hunt

When the timing and weather conditions are right, we can go and look at the magical Aurora Borealis. You can go out to our frozen river where you can hunt for the Northern lights. This is a great way to enjoy the spectacle and take some stunning pictures! Tack vare den praktiska appen på din mobiltelefon får du ett meddelande när det finns norrsken. På så sätt kan du ge dig ut när du vill. Since Långforsen is located near the Arctic Circle, we have a good chance of witnessing strong dancing northern lights! ( There is a big chance you can see it during your stay. However, this can never be guaranteed ) |
