After which we will drive to a connecting activity or to your home base for the week; Långforsen!

The moment where you meet the man himself!

Explore the fairytale village of Santa Claus himself!

Here you can enjoy the village on its own or take part in some small activities.

If you have an early arrival flight or a late departure flight, then this is a great moment to get something to eat.

Stand right on the arctic circle!

In the middle of Santa Claus Village you can clearly see where the arctic circle line is.

This is a great opportunity to take some memory-worthy pictures!

Try your luck on special ice fishing lake!

We will ride by snowmobile to a lake which is known for it's ice fishing. here you can try your luck at ice fishing.

This requires a good amount of patience. However, this lake gives a high chances to get a catch!

Here you can find perch and pike

In the silence of nature you can sit down on a frozen lake and relax while being surrounded by forest.

Relax in our wood-fired sauna by the river

Connected to the Swedish wood-fired sauna, there is an extra relax room to have some drinks and snacks by the stove.

You will receive bathrobes and fresh towels to use in the sauna.

( Please note: at extreme temperatures {colder than -15°C}, the sauna is not guaranteed to reach the optimal temperature. In this case, we will replace this activity with an equivalent activity. )

Starting from the winter season of 2025 / 2026 our new accommodations will have their own private sauna.

Meet your new 4 legged friends!

You will meet the huskies, which will take you on a 6 - 10km sleigh ride in the forests of Swedish Lapland.

During the sleigh ride, you will only hear the huskies and nature while moving at a fast pace through the frozen forest. After a lovely sleigh-ride, you will enjoy lunch on location.

Go on an expedition to a mountain cabin and return with lit torches in the darkness!

This will be a great adventure! You will start on your own on an enlightened path armed with headlamps towards the mountain cabin. Your guide will meet you at the warm cabin halfway the hike. You will learn you about the Swedish ‘Friluftsliv’ (outdoor life) and teach you some good to know survival skills.

You will know everything about how to make a fire for the right occasion and some handy tips to start a fire.
While snowshoeing you are surrounded by silence, the only sound you can hear is the wind, wildlife and the cracking of the snow under your feet. This is the best occasion to take time and look out for wildlife.

After you have warm up at the cabin and had a well deserved coffee you will continue down hill with a lit torch.

Learn how to make an maintain a good campfire!

What does it take to make a good campfire? How do I maintain my fire? What do I need for a good campfire? ...

All of these questions will be answered by doing it yourself. Your guide will help you through the steps.

Explore the endless forests and look for the beautiful wildlife on an extensive trip!

We will start with the introduction course on how to ride and handle the snowmobile, as well as the rules and tips and tricks. This is an extensive-guided tour through different terrain.

Depending on your level of snowmobiling, we will adapt to more difficult routes to guarantee the best experience!

The tour will take around 5-6 hours and includes lunch

We adapt ourselves to the group we have with us. If you like to drive faster for the adrenaline or slower to enjoy the scenery.

The snowmobiles are shared by 2 people. Due to the duration of the trip, there are plenty of possibilities to switch during the tour.

Good amount of snow fun guaranteed!

At Långforsen you can enjoy some activities like Sledding, Forest Ski's, Winter Nature Walks, Craft Workshops, Storytelling by the Fire, ...

Experience deep local cuisine!

We will prepare an extensive dinner with local ingredients found in Lapland. This menu has some special surprises throughout.

This is a must-do if you love to try new foods.

Meet the reindeer and their Sami herder

Together with the Sami, the reindeer herder, you will explore the corral where they gather the reindeer. Here you will learn about the reindeer and the Sami culture.

Because a reindeer is such a kind animal you will be able to pet and feed them from your hand! You can spoil your favorite one from the pack with their favorite candy from the forest.

Hereafter you can warm up with some warm drink. However, you have to earn this first by lasso-throwing like a real reindeer-herder!

Go alpine skiing on a local slope!

Have some skiing fun on a local slope which has green, blue, red slopes + funpark.

This is a great oportunity to learn how to ski. Our guide can teach you

The last day of your vacation

After an unforgettable trip in Swedish Lapland, we'll drive you back to the airport of Rovaniemi.

If you have a later flight, this would be the day to pack your luggage.

Check-out of the rooms is at 11:00.
( If needed, there is the possibility to store your luggage in our luggage room after check-out )

Explore the frozen world of the Ice Hotel!

We will drive further in the Finnish landscape to the Finnish Ice / Snow Hotel.

There you will discover rooms that are all unique made of ice and Snow. This is a classic bucket list item.

When the timing and weather conditions are right, we can go and look at the magical Aurora Borealis.

We go out by car to a hill or frozen lake where we can hunt for the Northern lights. Due to the open space of the lake, it is a great way to enjoy the spectacle!

This is the perfect opportunity to get a stunning photo.

Since Långforsen is located near the Arctic Circle, we have a good chance of witnessing strong dancing northern lights!

( There is a big chance you can see it during your stay. However, this can never be guaranteed )
