Here you will be able to see the sea. You will be explained about the history of the island and enjoy the scenery.
Afterward you will visit the border between Haparanda and Finland.
While there, we will visit some must see places and enter the Tornedalen Museum. Where you learn more about the cultural history.
On the way back home we will stop by Kukkolaforsen. This is a world heritage site famous for it’s white fish. This is located at the border river dividing Finland and Sweden. You will see the wild river and visit the open air old small fisher town.

Package #2:
This includes an Ice bath in the Baltic sea on the border.
At this site there is a heated cabin for you to change clothes.
Good to know: The minimum temperature of water is 0.1℃, Below this water will turn into ice. While ice bathing the ice on top of the water will isolate the water below. This means you will only be swimming in + degrees temperatures. The coldest part is when you come out of the water. ( however, due to the cabin close to the water this won’t be a problem.

This included an ice cream tasting on a local cow farm.
The ice cream is made with the freshest milk possible, which you will try different flavors of with different toppings.

Dinner is not included in this trip. We give you the ability to book a table in a local restaurant of your liking. This however, is on your own expenses.
• We will cross the border of finland and sweden multiple times. The boder of the two countries is made by the river running from Norway to the Baltic sea.
• You will visit world heritage sites and learn about the history of this region.
