#1 Husky sleigh ride through the Swedish wilderness

Upon arrival, the dogs are very enthusiastic, and they are eager to guide you through the forests of Swedish Lapland. You get to know the loving four-legged friends and lend a hand in preparing for the trip. Once you have left with the ride there is silence and you can enjoy the landscape. Who knows, you might spot a moose or a herd of reindeer during the trip.
When you return, you can warm yourself up with a hot coffee by the stove.

#2 Explore the woods by snowmobile

Here in the far north, the bicycle is exchanged for the snowmobile in winter. Explore the freshly prepared snowmobile trails through the woods like a local.
With us you are not part of a large tourist group, but go out in your own company, which ensures that we adapt to you. Are you adventurous or do you rather enjoy the landscape, it’s all possible. Along the way we stop to warm up at the campfire with a coffee and a snack. Children can also join this adventure, thanks to our snowmobile sled.

Do you like Huskies? Then definitely get to know these cute four-legged friends! The reindeer are the sweetest and funniest animals in the North. Did you know that you have reindeer of different sizes depending on where they live and that they spend a large part of the year in the wild? You will learn all about it during your visit to a Sami family. You get the chance to spoil them with their favorite treats from the forest. Who knows, you might encounter some reindeer on the way to one of the activities.

#4 Icebreaker cruise, a once in a lifetime experience

Board the icebreaker and have an unforgettable once in a lifetime experience.

The vessel has a massive icebreaking power which can make a passage for ships in the frozen baltic sea. You will have a guided tour down to the engine rooms and all way up to Captain’s bridge. During the stop you can have a walk on the frozen sea or a swim in a floating survival suit in the sea. At the end of this magical experience, each person on board receives a certificate.

#5 Look for the Northern Lights

During your stay we keep a close eye on our sources for the chance of the Northern Lights. We go out with the snowmobile and our aurora sled looking for the best place to spot the Northern Lights. Did you bring your camera? We are happy to help you with the right settings for the perfect images. Be aware that this is only possible with the aid of a tripod. We ourselves are well equipped with camera material and we ensure that you have beautiful memories at the end of the trip. Due to the fact that Långforsen is located outside the cities in the middle of nature, you can admire the beautiful starry sky in addition to the northern lights and sometimes also see the Milky Way.
